None of the rar files has an associated password. Use winrar 3.50 or newer to extract the mp3s. I've tried uploading this as mp3s in the audio>music category, but piratebay wouldn't let me somehow, so after many attempts I gave up and decided to create rar files and see if I could upload it to the audio>other instead of the audio>music category where rar files are not allowed anymore. This selection consists predominantly of albums that got a good rating at AMG (www.allmusic.com), mostly collected on soulseek (www.slsknet.org).

Now that I have added them all to my library, I must revise my first comment. This is an awesome set of old school reggae that I've never heard. And most of the folders had complete data.

However, the dougscripts I mentioned are a must for a volume of this size. Instantly fixing caps, track numbers (when available in the title) removing characters in the title such as numbers, finding artwork on Google. And the ScriptPal is very handy. See my first comment for links.

I am using iTunes on a Mac with over 7000 songs. I have been adding albums from this torrent to my library as they become available and so far I have added several Toots & The Maytals albums. The tracks are kind of messy, such as numbers in the titles, 'Track (number)' instead of titles, no track numbers, Album and Artist names mismatched or missing (Album and Artist is an easy edit by selecting multiple and 'Get Info' to edit the selected tracts) Time saving help is available using Apple Scripts from Download the scripts for 'Track Number to Song Name' 'Remove n Characters from Front or Back' 'Put Track Prefix to Track Number' and 'Search Google for Album Art'. I have edited over a thousand tracks using these tools. Select and Edit one track first to learn how they work.

Then select multiple tracts to edit (using Shift). I found the following Reggae Discography blog useful for adding track names and album art: Several other Reggae Artists are listed there as well. So far I found the quality of the audio to be good, just the data is messy.

Always add one album at a time to your library for editing, otherwise you will have a real mess on your hands. Sort the library using the 'Date Added' field.
