Sep 15, 2016 Having issues imaging Dell Latitude E7470. To start of with the point that my Task Sequence actually finishes and my issues are with the missing drivers. If I expand the CAB on the laptop and install the drivers from there. CVUSBDRVBus_257' and 'Synaptics SMBus Driver'. Manually pointing.
@DELL-Sreejith D - Sorry, at the moment this model is already in production. So I can not reproduce details. Basically, it seems like deploying drivers via WDS (Windows Deployment Services 2008R2), especially ControlVault drivers has some problems - there was some yellow exclamination mark indicating that has no driver: 'BcmNFCBus_257'. But if ran 'ControlVault Driver' installation package it finds all required drivers. Intel DPTF installs, devices are found, but in the event log throws some warnings like missing cataloques in '%systemroot% dpt' (or something similar). Error varies, depending if I only use WDS injected drivers or manually installed the DPTF package.
Last seen error was like: Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework: ESIF(8.0.10002.14) TYPE: ERROR FUNC: rsrc_app_start_app_in_active_user_session FILE: rsrc_app.c LINE: 328 Unable to start capture program. Error = 2 So I think the drivers itself are fine, but there could be some mistake in DPTF programs itself.
Google seems to have no useful knowledge at all about Intel DPTF. Forgot to mention - OS Win 7 x64 w latest updates (image itself is up-to-date). Deploying with MDT/LiteTouch. Device Manager errors on 'CVUSBDRVBus_257' and 'Synaptics SMBus Driver'. Manually pointing 'CVUSBDRVBus_257' to '.
E5450_5450-win7-A02-85TTP E5450_5450 win7 x86 security GVDJT_A00-00' installs a driver for 'Control Vault w/ Fingerprint Swipe Sensor'. After a reboot, 'Synaptics SMBus Driver' still shows error. If I uninstall the driver for this, and then rescan, it shows up as 'SM Bus Controller'. Pointing it to '. General Strategy Game.
E5450_5450-win7-A02-85TTP E5450_5450 win7 x86' when updating the driver, it installs as 'Intel Device'. All of these drivers are delivered to the OS during the Driver Injection phase of the OS task sequence. Any reason why they are not installing? Hi, I have a problem with Latitude E5450 and 7250, in OSD with SCCM 2012. The boot image loads, but I only see the wallpaper, after a while it just reboots. If I stop the reboot by pressing F8 and I do a ipconfig I have nothing so it looks like it's a network driver issue giving that if I use a Task Sequence Media it works exept for network features (activation of licences, joining domain, etc.) I added the network driver from DELL SUPPORT and the ones in this.CAB but nothing seems to work.
